Two steel rods slide into the meatus, a turn of a screw and they gradually spread apart. This mechanical urethral dilator is the most precise sounding tool in the catalog: you control the widening to a tenth of a millimeter thanks to the wing nuts. The glans ring at the base holds the entire assembly in place.

Mechanical screw widening

The principle is simple: two parallel rods are connected at the top by a screw mechanism with wing nuts. By turning the nuts, the rods spread apart and dilate the urinary meatus from the inside. The widening is ultra-progressive - each quarter turn opens it a tiny bit more. The mechanism locks into position, so there's no risk of accidental closing. It's the same principle as a speculum, but on the scale of the meatus.

Stabilizing glans ring

The polished steel ring is placed behind the corona of the glans and serves as a stable base for the entire mechanism. Without it, the rods would slip or pivot during use. The ring also creates a slight compression of the glans, which increases blood flow and sensitivity during dilation.

Surgical steel, critical hygiene

The entire mechanism is made of polished stainless steel. Sterilization is absolutely mandatory before and after each session: boiling water for 10 minutes or medical disinfectant spray. Use only sterile lubricant in individual doses. Urethral dilation is an advanced practice that requires impeccable hygiene and very slow progression. The polished rods are perfectly smooth to avoid any micro-lesions.
