The swirl pattern is classier than tie-dye for my taste — the coloured spirals give a marbled effect that is more “design object” than toy. Apart from the visual, it's strictly the same plug. If you hesitate between the two, take the one whose pattern you like the most, the sensations will be identical.
The Cheeky Swirl from CalExotics uses the same Medium format as the Tie-Dye but with a more regular and defined coloured spiral pattern. The silicone is molded with veins of colour that snake around the plug — a more graphic look than random tie-dye.
Color spirals in silicone
The swirl pattern gives an elegant marbled effect with lines of colour that circle around the body of the plug. As with Tie-Dye, the colours are in the mass — no paint that fades. The medium-firm silicone maintains its shape during insertion and the suction cup at the base offers the same possibilities for hands-free use on smooth surfaces.
Versatile M format
The Medium's progressive taper shape suits most users: the diameter gradually increases to the widest point, then narrows at the neck before the flared base.
